End of the Primaries

Mazel Tov Betty - you run a good campaign. Let's hope you can keep that up through the General Election and become the first woman Senator elected from Florida. Betty had a 30 point lead over Deutsch, so I suppose her strength as a candidate should not be discounted. Let's hope she can manage such a wider margin against Mr. Martinez.

Alex Penelas gave a very classy concession speech, and his remarks showed what a good person he is. I still feel that he would've been the strongest candidate against Mel Martinez, but that's not to be. Hopefully he'll be running for Governor in two years.

Marni Berger lost her challenge to Shari McInvale by only 53 votes - that's insane. That's not losing, that's just bad luck - 26 people voting differently would've made the difference.
