The Rally
Last night the gloves came off. Kerry gave a speech where he really started hitting back at the Bush Administration for their failure of leadership. Both he and Edwards were in good form, though Kerry has lost his voice.

Intermingled throughout the crowd were notables from around the area, as well as from around the party. Richard Swann, Karen Castor were among the prominent national Dems, while Marni Berger, Doug Head, Stephen Murray, and Kim Bowles were amongst the local notables.
The whole event got off to a rough start, as Secret Service didn't bring nearly enough Mags for an event this size. The crowds got restless, especially when it started raining on them. But we made sure it was well worth the wait.

The Staff gathers for a quick picture.
Ok - now I'm going to go a little Wonkette here. Chris Kirkpatrick from N'Sync as our talent? The man looked like a washed up Lounge Singer!!...
Not to mention that N'Sync sucks. Give me Wilco.
