Stop Reaching Out to Pro-Birthers
Everytime a prominent Democrat reaches out to The Fundies, we're setting ourselves up to get screwed. Hillary says we need to reach common ground with the anti-abortion faction - there is no common ground to reach. Would we be trying to reach common ground with these people if they were protesting condoms or the pill instead of abortions? There is nothing that we want from these people - and we're not going to win any elections by giving in to the fundies. I repeat:
We're not going to win any election by giving up our cultural ground. The ones who have problems with abortions are never going to vote for us - period. Let's instead reach out to those who vote for the Republicans for economic reasons.
The sooner we understand this, the sooner we're going to recapture our country.
It's the culture war, stupid!
