"Our Boy Ric" wants to Punish Journalists

I heard on WTOP that The Hill is going to have an article tomorrow about how Central Florida's own Ric Keller is going to propose legislation to take care of this nasty problem of pundits shilling for Bush on the administration. By requiring they notify the Justice Department that they've been paid.

Just like buying a Marijuana tax stamp has been SO effective at curbing drug use in this country. And I love how those scarlet letters stopped people from having sex out of wedlock. SUCH EFFECTIVE MEANS OF REGULATION!

Come on! Perhaps maybe we should be looking at drafting legislation that makes it illegal for an administration to pay people off to shill for them? Gee perhaps that might be a better place to start? This is another non-solution to a problem that didn't exist until George-y boy and his corrupt friends on the hill came around.
