Whole Foods, I Miss Thee!

http://dcist.com/2007/07/26/organic_grocery.php

If DC is getting an Ellwood Thompson's, I want a Whole Foods dammit! Where else can I get delicious steak, a wide variety of mushrooms, and Fuller's London Pride?

Hey, now, no busting on Ellwood's! What it lacks in product variety because of being a small company, it makes up for by supporting local bushiness.

Business, not bushiness. i shouldn't leave comments while talking on the phone.

Fortunately, the solution to your problem is a few Metro stops or quick Saturday drive away at 2700 Wilson Blvd in Arlington County. Whole Foods is in the Clarendon neighborhood. You could take the Metro and hop off the Clarendon stop on the Orange Line and there you go. Mmmmmm, mushrooms.

Don't want to make you feel bad, but even Richmond is getting a Whole Foods store, opening sometime in 2007. They've already broken ground on Broad Street near the westernmost I-64 interchange.

Catzmaw -

Your comment was unseen until now (Due to my anti-spam measures you failed to comply with)...

I'm not in DC anymore, but rather in Richmond. This makes Clarendon Blvd a wee bit inconvenient. But I do know that Whole Foods quite well - many a steak cravings were fulfilled from their butcher counter. That and it's right next to Galaxy Hut.
